The Community Roots Festival is a FREE annual community festival in celebration of local food, sustainability, fun, and community!

​

40+ vendors and over 2,000 visitors from Northeast Missouri and beyond visit the festival every year! Visitors can participate in interactive workshops
around cooking, gardening, and health, enjoy hours of live entertainment, or take part in a yoga-thon. There will be an
extensive Kid's Area, including crafts, games, and petting zoo. There will be a Sustainability Demo Tent with demos, taste
tests, a Hot Pepper eating contest, bike tune-ups and much more!

 

The 2019 festival took place on the beautiful downtown square of Kirksville on August 24th 2019 from 4-11PM.
